Paolo was born in Turin, Italy, in 1984 and grew up in Foggia, a small town in Southern Italy. At 16, he won a United World Colleges scholarship to complete his high school studies in British Columbia, Canada. He then returned to Italy for his BA and MA in Political Sciences.

He moved to Hong Kong in 2011, the same year he published his first Italian-language novel, “La minaccia di Taytos” (published in English in 2020 with the title “The Threat of Taytos”).

He spent a decade in Hong Kong working as a financial journalist and editor for prestigious international trade publications, and then as a VP for a top 5 global PR firm. In 2020, he co-founded WordRevo, a revolutionary company that aims to help writers around the world take their books to all global book marketplaces with an all-in-one translation and self-publishing service.

Paolo is married and has two children.
